Spacious rooms with ample storage, perfect for stashing all the gear you don't want cluttering the floor. The tranquility of the location offers a pleasant retreat, making it convenient for day trips without the hustle of the nearest towns.
The beds left much to be desired—definitely not clouds of comfort, more like slabs of concrete. Walls felt as thin as a Wookiee's patience, allowing every sound from the neighboring rooms to seep through. The decor needs an update, especially the bathroom, where it looks like the '70s held a garage sale. At one point, I had to open the window since the radiator refused to cooperate, despite my best efforts with the thermostat.

the shower pressure was way too low, it was like a dribble. also, we could hear the noise from the upper floor, it was annoying.

I had a fantastic stay at The Boars Head. The Deluxe King Room felt spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, and the bar staff, particularly Gabby, made our meals enjoyable with great service. The hotel grounds were lovely for strolling, especially with Carsington Water nearby. We celebrated an engagement during our stay, which made it extra special! One downside was the Wi-Fi signal. it could have been stronger in the room. the experience was great aside from that issue.
